In December 2020 I decided to do a giveaway on Instagram specifically for a styled maternity shoot to add to my Beautifully Pregnant portfolio. Maternity Photography has always been a beloved genre for me and it had been so long since I did one. So I wanted to bless a mommy-to-be with a beautifully glamourous session. Our lovely winner, Azure Heynes, is a true Capetonian and a first time mommy-to-be. She was an absolute joy to photograph and we had the best time creating some timeless keepsake photos for her to cherish for years to come. You'll also catch a glimpse of Azure's husband Chad during the session. These two did not have to pose, their love painted each picture. They met as colleagues and their relationship soon blossomed when they discovered that they were perfect for each other. 2020 was filled with celebrations as they promised forever to each other and got the news that they were expecting their first baby.
I am so happy to have been part of their journey. Maternity photography is just one of those genres that gives you all the warm and fuzzy feels. I hope you enjoy this session as much as I enjoy photographing it.
