Nathan and Ilana met the day Ilana, a young newly qualified nurse, decided to rent the garden cottage of the Pieters family in Kuilsriver. Nathan was immediately taken with her and a friendship started. It wasn't long before they fell in love and the friendship became a beautiful romance . Nathan describes Ilana as the big love of his life and his biggest supporter. What made this wedding extra special for me, personally, was that I first met Ilana when she was just nine years old! She's the baby sister of my very dear friend and former university flat mate, Sharon. I was so excited when Sharon called me and said "You are my wedding gift to Ilana" So this was an extra special privilege for me.
Ilana was the sweetest bride and, oh my gosh, so loved by everyone who knows her. It was quite evident as Nathan couldn't take his eyes off his bride. I wish them a long and happy marriage
